What is echter ontwerp?

Echter ontwerp is a Dutch social design studio founded by Willemieke van den Brink. Echter ontwerp means authentic, more than real, design. Willemieke wants to make an effort for people and society, she wants to be relevant to one another, by listening, analyzing and depicting; by creating stories, providing stories to be told, and telling stories.

Echter ontwerp is searching for new solutions, and goes beyond only explaining topics. She hopes to inspire people, to make misunderstood themes more comprihensible; by doing extensive research, analysis, collaborations and a powerful visual language to express the results.
